Services & Responsibilities

Orchard International is vowed to keep up the standard of its services and confidently dischargers its responsibilities to the satisfaction of all concerned. It serves with its men and materials, wet-up and infrastructure, wisdom and counsel beginning to accomplishment of any responsibility.

Selection

Always an updated data bank is maintained with processed information on workers : professionals, skilled, semiskilled, unskilled labour for ready resonance, regular trade-tests and interviews are conducted to determine grade, qualifications, possession of certificates, license, training, experience etc. Besides Bangladesh, they are also from India, Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand as well as Europe, USA and Latin America. Recruitment may be made from sources of choice. At least 50% more than the required number of candidates are primarily selected to ensure most appropriate final recruitment. A thousand personnel in different categories can well be selected in a week, including trade tests.

Trade Test

Trade test, both theoretical and practical are conducted by competent Testing Board and Committee consisting of professionals, experts and instructors at the concern.

Trade Test Centre

The test Include : theoretical knowledge including knowledge of language, small loan handling, identification of position and handling of tools pertinent to trade, identification of equipment and material used and practical details of trade, workmanship. These enable prompt recruitment of right person for specific job and save the honourable client from embarrassment of rejection and wastage of time. The concern is also capable of recruiting any number of other categories on demand.

Issue of Passport

Regular and correct passport is obviously important for personnel going to obtain it. But with instruction from the Government of the Passport authority for quick action in this case, on special recommendation, a passport may be issued in 12 hours.

Medical Check-up

A Medical Board, including psychiatrists, conducts check-up of selected candidates. Candidates are sent to doctor/hospital/clinic nominated  by the embassy of the respective country or a advised by the employer, for the examination.

Execution of Contract

Orchard International arranges for the execution of contract between the employer and the employers, or itself executes the same with employees on behalf of the employer on receipt of due authorisation from the esteemed employer.

Endorsement of Visa/NOC

Orchard International arranges for obtaining Visa/NOC from the concerned embassy as soon as possible on receipt of authenticated power of attorney from the employer/principal.

Govt. Clearance/Immigration Clearance.

The Visa/NOC received, Orchard International by its efforts obtains immigration clearance for the expatriate from the concerned authorities at the earlier.

Ticketing

If Pre-paid Ticket Advice (PTA) is not provided by the principal, Orchard International arranges for tickets for the expatriates through its allied/approved travel agencies.

Sister Concern : Royal Aviation Services Ltd. a sister concern of Orchard International is a prime travel agency making major turnovers for Saudi Arabian Airlines, Gulf Air, Emirates among other major airlines including Biman. The agency has time and again been praised for its prompt service which adds an assurance to Orchard International.

Orientation

Orchard International recruits personnel from many other countries besides Bangladesh. In that it attaches most importance to their adaptability to the conditions they go to serve in, in all cases. The concern orients them to maintain understanding and cordiality among themselves, overcoming barriers of nationality, language and culture and above all, to abide by the law of the land of their employment. It orients them to maintain a good employee-employer relation under any circumstance. They are motivated to mind their duties above everything and that a better performance only would bring them the desired benefit.

Bank Permission

In absence of PTAs Orchard International has to purchase air-tickets for the expatriates in US dollars and thus has to obtain permission from the central bank for the purpose. However, the process consumes little a time. Customs, traditions, social rules & restrictions Orchard International briefs workers from different nationalities to honour each others customers and traditions towards maintaining a harmonious and congenial atmosphere. It takes special care  in briefing them to abide by those strictly followed in the land of their employment. It specially briefs the personnel assigned for Saudi Arabia and other ME countries in respect of Islamic Principles so that none of their conducts lead to any hindrance in abiding by the Islamic rules.

Safety

As the work fields abroad assumed not free from hazards, all expatriate workers are briefed about first hand safety measures, to the life of both the employees and the employers from any concern. Big construction projects involving innumerable men, huge material and equipment sometime appear to be really hazardous, but the workers are already briefed about protective clothing, general and specific when any accident occurs and imparted knowledge of first aid treatment.

General Advice

All the expatriates whether from Bangladesh or any other source are advised to refrain from contact or involvement by any manner with such acts as might assume or lead to be assumed subversive to the principal's country and interest. They are generally advised never to get into insubordination.
